Revine Lago (Revine)
Revine Lago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Treviso in the Italian region Veneto, located about 60 km north of Venice and about 35 km north of Treviso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,190 and an area of 18.7 km².
The municipality of Revine Lago contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Revine, Lago, and Santa Maria (Sede Municipale).
Revine Lago borders the following municipalities: Cison di Valmarino, Limana, Tarzo, Trichiana, Vittorio Veneto.
The municipality is dividend in two main areas: the Prealpi side and the valley. The Prealpi side is a slope almost completely covered by wood. It begins on the last peaks of the Prealpi Bellunesi (Monte Cor, La Posa) at 1200 to 1300 m in elevation and decreases until the bottom of the valley. The highest elevation is 1344 m. Two lakes are situated in the valley: lake of Santa Maria, and lake of Lago. These are located in a plain, the lowest part of the municipality at 224 m. The majority of the buildings are situated between the slope and the lakes.
